Maintenance Development Engineer :

Reporting directly to the Service Manager, we are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Maintenance Development Engineer to be based in Riyadh, supporting our service sales teams in different offices in Saudi Arabia.

Responsibilities:

Provide technical support to the service sales team to develop, sell and successfully implement KONE products and service solutions that meet customer’s needs
Answer customers technical questions and support the service sales team with technical issues
Support the service sales by analyzing customers’ technical needs and develop proposals outlining how KONE’s products and services can provide clear solutions to meet these needs
Provide technical and costing support for the sales process
Ensure that the proposed solution fulfils the codes, regulations and safety requirements
Maintain and update projects and contracts data on CRM & SAP
Requirements:

Electrical or mechanical engineering degree
2 - 5 years of experience in field maintenance operations is a must; preferably in the same industry
Sales experience is an added value
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with different stakeholders
Excellent Arabic and English language skills

Computing Specialist - Americas :

We are looking for a Computing Specialist for KONE Americas who will maintain the quality level of Data Center services provided by Outsource Partner, as well as maintain good IT processes for Data Center service related incidents with Outsource Partner and evaluate monthly status and capacity reports provided by Outsource Partner and follow up on corrective action where needed.

Essential Functions:

- To support the global business on IT matters during the North American time zone hours by facilitating follow up on design, implementation and enhancements of the infrastructure with key IT suppliers.

- To support keep business running by maintaining high availability for all Data Center services by managing the outsourcing partner through effective use of all processes and operational reviews. Follow-the-sun support, taking over from area and handing over to other area in case it is required.

- To own & supervise 3rd party operations of local & centralized IT services based on standard Microsoft solutions (O365 applications, MS SQL, MS Server services, non-SAP Archiving.)

- To assist License management team with license data collection and provide advice for license optimization.

- To follow up on operational services from services restoration, performance improvement and new services delivery to our internal IT consumers.

- To keep users informed of disruptions agreed computing service levels which affecting business operations & distribute regular reports & information on Global activities & performance.

- To evaluate and improve processes and procedures relating to Centralized & Distributed computing Operations.

- To establish the foundations for a knowledgeable and responsive distributed computing Infrastructure Operations organization.

- To support & follow up on the rollout of service changes requests.

- Technical review of new hardware & software orders (capex process).

- Technical/Commercial review of Service Purchase Orders & billable changes (Demand process) SW license management for global & central solutions.

- To review & maintain the Reference Architecture Documents.

- To advice capacity optimization opportunities.

- Server Hardware refresh management & Hardware technology planning for local server systems. Hardware Standardization Ownership (Servers, PC, Storage & Backup). Maintain hardware standardization.

- Follow up on company owned Hardware and Software maintenance & service contracts for regional solutions.

- To maintain supported Software versions and advice application owners timely on recommended Software upgrades to maintain supportability.

Experience:

-5+ years’ experience in managing IT Operational activities.

-Good experience of managing & working to Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

-Cross-functional exposure (ideally service, manufacturing, engineering, purchasing, IS installation etc.)

-Experience of leading & managing a customer service team, both directly & remotely.

Education:

- Bachelors and/or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or 7+ years of related experience.

Specific Skills, Knowledge & Behavior:

- Proven ability to manage service improvement projects on time, within budget & with desired outcome (ROI).

- Strong knowledge of distributed computing suite of applications, VMWare products, SAN Storage & Cisco backbones.

- Technical skills in Microsoft solution stack, &/or complementary partner solutions (VMware, SAN Storage, Cisco backbones etc.)

- Strong Project Management skills.

- Good budget management skills.

- Strong Incident & Problem analysis skills.

- Strong customer service.

- Passion for continuous improvement.

- Proven ability to work in a virtual, cross-cultural environment with numerous stakeholders.

- Ability to work, coordinate people & get results in a virtual environment (remotely) within a highly matrix organization.

- Flexible work hours.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Ability to understand "the big picture" and to learn quickly.

- Ability to work independently without need.
